Photography is how I hold on to time. It lets me remember the small details of a journey — a color in the street, a smell in the air, a distant sound, a passing emotion. Each image is a way back to those sensations.
I’m drawn to walking through cities, especially new ones, looking for scenes, places, and people that appear once and then disappear. That is why street photography feels so natural to me.
Sports give me something similar, with a different energy. A match is full of movement, tension, and rhythm, and in the middle of that speed a photograph can freeze an expression, a beam of light, or the shape of a gesture you could never fully appreciate while it’s happening.
